Her masterwork, The Harmonic Structure of Movement, Music, and Dance According to Rudolf Laban (2009) recapitulates her doctoral and postdoctoral research based upon unpublished theoretical writings and drawings held in the Rudolf Laban Archive at the University of Surrey. Moore has also written three books about Movement Pattern Analysis, most recently Movement and Making Decisions: The Body-Mind Connection in the Workplace (2005).
The classic college text, Beyond Words: Movement Observation and Analysis, written with Kaoru Yamamoto and originally published in 1989, was updated in a second edition in 2012, with a dedicated website for its video chapters. In addition, she has extensive experience as a writer and editor. This new program, with curriculum designed and instruction handled by Dr. These efforts are carried forward by the Movement Pattern Analysis Consultant Certificate program at Columbia College Chicago. Moore has taken a lead in training the next generation of MPA profilers in collaboration with movement pioneer, Warren Lamb. In addition to professional Movement Pattern Analysis consulting assignments with American and British companies, Dr. Program in Somatic Studies and Labananalysis at the University of Surrey (launched in 2002). Of late, she has been active in designing and teaching in the Graduate Laban Certificate in Movement Analysis at Columbia College Chicago (launched in 2001) and the M.A. She was instrumental in the founding of the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, serving on the faculty and staff from 1978-1982. Since 1976, she has taught movement analysis in professional and academic programs in the U.S., England, Germany, the Netherlands, and Korea. Moore has been a leader in developing curriculum, training materials, and programs in movement analysis.
